Dr Amie Fabry (“I”, “me”, “my”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how I collect, use, store and disclose personal information through this website, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
This website is primarily an information resource about my work in early childhood education and leadership. I collect only a minimal amount of personal information, and only when you choose to provide it.
1. What personal information I collect
I may collect the following personal information when you voluntarily provide it:
Enquiry form submissions — your name, email address, and any other contact details or information you choose to include when enquiring about working with me.
Newsletter sign-ups — your name and email address when you subscribe to my mailing list.
Purchases — your name, email address and billing details when you purchase a resource or framework through this website. Payment card details are processed securely by my payment provider and are never stored on this website or accessible to me.
Website analytics — anonymous or aggregated information about how visitors use this website, such as pages visited, time on site, approximate location (city level), device and browser type, collected via cookies and similar technologies.
I do not collect sensitive information (such as health information, or information about children or families) through this website.
2. How I collect personal information
I collect personal information directly from you when you complete the enquiry form, subscribe to the newsletter, or make a purchase. Analytics information is collected automatically through cookies when you browse the site (see section 7).
3. Why I collect and how I use your information
I collect, hold and use personal information only for the purposes for which it was provided, including to:
Respond to your enquiry and discuss potential work together.
Send you my newsletter and related updates, where you have subscribed.
Process and fulfil your purchase, including providing receipts and customer support.
Understand how the website is used so I can improve its content and performance.
Comply with legal obligations, including tax and record-keeping requirements.
I do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. I do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.
4. Third-party service providers
I use a small number of trusted third-party services to operate this website. These providers process personal information on my behalf and are governed by their own privacy policies:
MailerLite — email newsletter platform, used to store subscriber details and send newsletters. See MailerLite’s privacy policy at www.mailerlite.com/legal/privacy-policy.
Stripe — payment processing for purchases. Stripe handles your payment card details directly; I never see or store full card numbers. See Stripe’s privacy policy at stripe.com/au/privacy.
Google Analytics — website analytics. Google collects usage data via cookies. See Google’s privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out of Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
WordPress — the platform on which this website is built and hosted.
5. Overseas disclosure
Some of the service providers listed above store or process data outside Australia. In particular, MailerLite processes data in the European Union, and Stripe and Google process data in the United States and other locations. By providing your personal information through this website, you acknowledge that it may be transferred to and stored in these locations. I take reasonable steps to ensure these providers handle personal information in a manner consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles, including by using providers with robust, publicly documented privacy and security practices.
6. How I store and protect your information
Personal information is stored within the secure systems of the third-party providers listed above and in my business email and records. I take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure, including using reputable providers, secure passwords and access controls.
I retain personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by law (for example, financial records relating to purchases must be retained for tax purposes). Enquiry details that do not lead to ongoing work are deleted within a reasonable period. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email, and your details will be removed from the mailing list.
7. Cookies
This website uses cookies — small text files stored on your device — to enable website functionality and to collect analytics information through Google Analytics. Cookies do not personally identify you. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect some website functionality.
8. Links to other websites
This website may contain links to external websites. I am not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites and encourage you to review their privacy policies.
9. Accessing or correcting your information
You may request access to the personal information I hold about you, or ask that it be corrected or deleted, by contacting me using the details below. I will respond within a reasonable period. There is no charge for making a request.
10. Complaints
If you have a concern or complaint about how your personal information has been handled, please contact me first so I can try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with my response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at www.oaic.gov.au or by phoning 1300 363 992.

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will always be published on this website with the date of the most recent update.
